Their first lady of the Christian movement finally divorced the General Overseer, Pastor Chris Onehirokpeana Oyakhilome.
In a statement issued by Attwaters Jameson Hill, the legal firm representing Anita via their website, it was confirmed that Anita Obhodaghe successfully secured a decree absolute on the 8th of February, 2015 at the Family Division of the Principal Registry of the High Court.

Implying the completion of the breakdown of the highly revered marital union, and her severance from the Christ Embassy Church.
Pastor Chris, as he is popularly called, is yet to react to the latest round of news.

The divorce process has witnessed some acrimonious moments since an application was filed in 2014 by Anita, who levelled allegations of moral impropriety against the highly revered Pastor, with consequent fierce denial by the Pastor.

The latest development must have come as a blow to the hopes and aspirations of millions of Love-world Inc adherents, who must have been hoping for a happy ending to what was mainly seen as the ‘work of the devil’.

We hope that their children and the millions of Love-world Inc adherents will find the strength to pull through this difficult period.
The sad reality is that this unfortunate incident would send ripples throughout the Afro-christian world, most especially, within the Nigerian Christian circle where the power couple is seen as a voice.
