Rashford, who has managed to record seven goals to his name in twenty-four appearances this season, has been at a loggerhead with United’s hierarchy−the INEOS−and their “clean culture” approach in recent months, following his non-compliance with the rules of the former United’s boss Erik Ten Haag.
Amorim, Ten Hag’s successor, has expressed his disappointment with the forward’s attitude and work ethic during training sessions, as well as his overall demeanor.
Amorim snubbed Rashford during Sunday’s Manchester derby due to his unacceptable conduct.
After the victory at the weekend, Amorim explains his decision for Man. United’s derby against Man. City, and also Rashford and Garnacho’s exclusion from the squad.
“It is important to say it was not a disciplinary thing,” the manager confirmed, when asked why Rashford was missing.
“For me what is important is the performance in training, the performance in game, the way you dress, the way you eat, the way you engage with team-mates and push team-mates.”
During the last international break, Rashford was pictured in an NBA court in the United States, and this action cast gloom over his United’s future on Ruben Amorim.
Sky Sports pundit Paul Merson airs his worry for the England forward’s Manchester United future under Ruben Amorim.

“Ruben Amorim’s comments after the derby were fairly indicative of a parting of ways.
“Obviously it’s going to cause emotion because Marcus Rashford is homegrown, he’s very talented, 60 caps for England. It’s going to be a big story.
“Sometimes parting causes sweet sorrow, but sometimes it’s necessary sorrow.
“I’m sure there will be a market – whether that be in Spain or Italy – because he’s at that magical age for footballers where he still retains his athleticism but has got so much experience.

“Amorim wants to play a specific system and Rashford is adaptable, but reading the headlines today it looks like Rashford isn’t in those plans.”
Amorim Will Try To Offer Rashford Playing Time

However, Amorim may try to explore various methods to get some mojo out of the embattled forward
“For so long, for example with Rash, you try a thing, it doesn’t work,” Amorim said.
“Let’s continue to do the same thing? Or something different?”
Being omitted from the squad which faced Manchester City has also had positive effects on the player whose attitude and standards have improve in training.
On his social media account, Rashford posted a picture of United’s celebration after Amad sensationally secured the winning goal for the Red Devils with a caption, “Yesssssssss! Love it lads.”
A post which appeared in consonance with Amorim’s comment that player’s activities, including “engagement with teammates” will be major consideration while making team selection.
Rashford Leaving United Is Inevitable – Carragher
Sky Sports’ pundit and Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher analyses Manchester United’s derby win over their Archrivals, Manchester City, and suggests that Rashford not being selected in the derby win could spell the end for him at Old Trafford.
“Most managers who come in, they want to send a message to the squad about the standards of the football club.
“In some ways it feels a bigger decision than it actually is.

“I mean, is Marcus Rashford in the best XI? How good is he? We’re not talking about a world-renowned superstar here.
He continued, “I actually think we talk about Marcus Rashford too much, if I’m being totally honest.
“He’s a good player, he’s not a great player, he’s been a really good player for Manchester United.
“It is time for him to leave the club, but whether there’ll be any takers with the wages the lad’s on and things like that, who knows.
“I just think a parting of the ways is inevitable at some stage, and I think for
Manchester United and Rashford, the quicker that comes, the better,” Carragher added.
