Jordan will take 2000 Gaza kids as King Abdullah II assures Trump
Diplomatic relations between the United States of America and Jordan becomes stronger as the Jordanian King Abdullah assures President Trump of his cooperation.
The King of Jordan, King Abdullah II has expressed his desire to work with the United States President Donald Trump in his commitment to rehoming 2,000 Gaza children.
Following Trump administration’s effort to restore peace and harmony in the world, he previously tasked Jordan and Egypt to prepare parcels of land to accommodate thousands of Palestinians ahead of a US’ proposed takeover of the region.
Hosting King Abdullah in this Oval Office, President Trump commended the king’s plan on rehoming about 0.1% of the estimated 2 million Palestinians in war-ridden Gaza−as both the Egyptian and Jordanian leaders are set for emergency dialogue in Saudi Arabia at the proposition of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
On Tuesday, Jordanian King Abdullah II offered to rehome 2,000 children from Gaza in a bid to strengthen Jordan’s diplomatic ties.
Trump reassured that he was still committed to American dominance of the coastal region, stating that he had the approval of other nations to carry on with his plan.
“One of the things that we can do right away is take 2,000 children that are either cancer children or in a very ill state to Jordan as quickly as possible,” said the king one week after Trump said he would capture Gaza and transform it into the “Riviera of the Middle East.”

Previously, Abdullah opposed Trump’s move to deport Gazans to Jordan and Egypt, and the king noted that rehoming the children, he would “then wait for, I think, the Egyptians to present their plan on how we can work with the president.”
Cairo has also appeared to oppose Trump’s move to zero Gaza’s population−with the United States President noting that many Palestinians would never want to return to their homeland−but made demands that Israel’s Arab neighbors proceed with the plan.
During the meeting, Trump told Abdullah, 63, that “what you just said about the 2,000 is fantastic. It’s so beautiful. It’s music to my ears.”
The president stressed that he believes Amman and Cairo will provide a resettlement for Gaza refugees−noting that he was almost 100% sure that Egypt and Gaza would act as asked.
President Trump also said that he expected Jordan to take more than 2,000 Gazans for ensure the United States’ ownership of the region.
“We’re going to be able to work something out. And I know we’ll be able to work something also with, I believe, not 100%, but 99% we’re going to work out something with Egypt,” he said.
“It’s going to be where we ultimately choose as a group. And I believe we’ll have a parcel of land in Jordan. I believe we’ll have a parcel of land in Egypt

We may have someplace else, but I think when we finish our talks, we’ll have a place where they’re going to live very happily and very safely,” he said.
Gaza “could a diamond,” Trump added.
“It’s fronting on the sea. It’s going to be a great economic development job. It’s going to put people to work, a lot of people to work.
And those people are all going to be from the Middle East,” he said.

Abdullah II stated that he would have to wait for an Egyptian anti-proposal before making further comment.
Previously, Trump opposed Israel taking over the region after clearing out the population and other remaining Hamas terrorists following 16 months of fighting.
On Tuesday, Trump claimed that the United States would not have to pay for the taking over of the territory.
“We’re not going to buy anything. We’re going to have it. We’re going to keep it,” Trump said, during the meeting, in the Oval Office.
“And we’re going to make sure that there’s going to be peace and there’s not going to be any problem, and nobody’s going to question it.”
On the other hand, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has always been in support of Trump’s vision and initiatives of Gaza takeover.

Ukraine Cannot Be A Member Of NATO – US
On Wednesday, the United States Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth said that the war between Russia and Ukraine “must end” and Ukraine becoming a member of NATO is not realistic and that the U.S. will stop to prioritize European and Ukrainian security as the Trump administration has shifted its focus to protecting its own borders and impeding war with China.
In a statement before a meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group, Hegseth also stated that European troops should be made the basic force protecting a post-war Ukraine−a task UP troops will not take part in, he added.
“The United States does not believe that NATO membership for Ukraine is a realistic outcome of a negotiated settlement,” Hegseth said.
“And he added that any security guarantees offered to Ukraine “must be backed by capable European and non-European troops.
“To be clear, as part of any security guarantee, there will not be US troops deployed to Ukraine,” he said
Hegseth also stated that a return to Ukraine’s pre-2014 borders, before Russia invaded Crimea and eastern Ukraine, “is an unrealistic objective.”
Several NATO allies would want to agree with Hegseth that taking Crimea back from Russia is not possible, and not even Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has power over that as a precursor to a peace dialogue.
According to A NATO official who said it could have been more concerning if Hegseth proposed that returning to Ukraine’s pre-2022 borders was realistic.
