Michael Ataga: Downside of Side Chicking Ms Chidinma Ojukwu presents a sorry story of a well-successful businessman who was sent to the world beyond by his side chick, Ms Chidinma Adaora Ojukwu. A sad story, indeed.
A profiled man, Mr Michael Osifo Ataga was stabbed to death by a Baby-Faced Assassin, a Prada-Wearing Devil, Ms Chidinma Adaora Ojukwu, somewhere in the eyebrow area of Lagos State.
The Social Media platform is awash with individuals putting up alibis, and defending the young lady.

The conversations have developed into that of rape, non-consensual sexual experience, infidelity, substance abuse, poverty, and taking advantage of a younger person.
However, it appears that some people are suffering from selective amnesia.
They choose to ignore the most important conversation which should be that of MURDER, as in, cold-blooded murder.
If you want to fully grasp the worrying attitude of the public towards the Lady-Culprit, you just need to lay your hand on a Classic by Kate Summerscale titled “The Suspicions of Mr Whicher” or “The Murder At Road Hill House.” As it was then, so it still is, now.
The central conversation here is that Ms Chidinma Adaora Ojukwu, a 300-level Mass Communication student at the University of Lagos stabbed Osifo Ataga to death.
Her remorseless demeanour is a cause for concern.
I refuse to buy into the well-constructed alibi of the culprit. I disdain the celebrity treatment accorded to her during her public parade.
Why affect a withdrawal from the bank account of someone you just murdered?
We have seen the Nigerian Police Force paraded women in the past for similar offences, so why treat Ms Ojukwu any differently?

I suspect that Mr Ataga might not be the only profiled individual that Ms Ojukwu is romantically involved.
It may well be that some individuals are behind the scenes, ensuring that she has a soft landing and enjoys preferential treatment.
It is not my place to pontificate about what individuals choose to do with their genitalia. It is their private affair.
The important thing is that she is an adult. A 21-year-old Lady. So, we are not talking about paedophilia here.
While I sympathise with the wife and the resultant heartbreak she suffers from all of these playing scenarios and the unwanted publicity, no one, including Mr Ataga deserves to die as a result of promiscuity.
Ms Ojukwu is not a victim. She is the culprit, going by her admission.
We should stop treating her like a victim. She is a cold-blooded murderer.
I understand that she may even plausibly escape the ultimate penalty with a lighter punishment. That is not a problem as long as she’s processed and subjected to the appropriate judicial process.
We cannot rely on her single story when the other party is no more to defend himself. It is foolhardy to believe her story, just like that.
If the circumstance was flipped and it was Mr Ataga who killed Ms Ojukwu, by now, the drum of #justice4chindinmaojukwu would have assumed an inconvenient decibel but because the victim is a man, he should die anyway.
To some, he deserves to die. To some, he must have done something worthy of death. So, people are not speaking out against his murder.
I even read somewhere where a lady justified the killing and the theft by saying that “a hungry lioness would do anything in a lean Savannah, and that the lady should be excused. She rounded it up by saying that she was being pragmatic.” What a folly?
Some folks believe her because they see it as a convenient way of getting back at a man who betrayed his wife, but should that be the case?
The case of murder cannot be taken with levity just because we disapprove of the actions of the victim.
Justice should, and must be served.

Who is Ms Chidinma Adaora Ojukwu?
Chidinma Adaora Ojukwu, 21, was born on the 3rd of March 2000, is a part-time 300-level undergraduate Mass Communication student at the University of Lagos.
She has been officially confirmed as the suspect in the killing of Michael Osifo Ataga, the CEO of Super TV and her Sugar Daddy.
Up till the time of the incident, Ms Chidinma Adaora Ojukwu was living with her Father at Alagomeji, Yaba, Lagos. It appears that her parents are not living together, at the time of the incident.
Chidinma Adaora Ojukwu hails from Arochukwu, in Abia State, South-East part of Nigeria.
She is Igbo by tribe.
Her father was said to have resisted the arrest of Chidinma by the Police when the cold hands of the law came calling for her.
He was remanded at the Panti Police Station and has since been released.
It should also be noted that while Ms Chidinma Adaora Ojukwu is reportedly a 300 Level Mass Communication Student at the University of Lagos, feelers coming out of the school suggest that she has not been attending lectures or partaking in semester assessments.

In a video released by a Youtuber with the page – “Grow With Me” shared on the Facebook page – “Favour Pretty” on the 25th of June 2021 at 1:41 pm GMT, the anchor stressed that a Lecturer at the part-time wing of the Department of Mass Communication at the University of Lagos argued that the last time Ms Chidinma Adaora Ojukwu attended classes was in 2019, and precisely prior to the emergence of the global pandemic, coronavirus.
This goes to show that Ms Ojukwu is not such a dutiful and diligent student who happened to stray, afterall.
Not at all.
Such testimonial coming from her school’s department shows that she is an unserious student who seems bent on pursuing comfort and riches, at all costs.
If she could be engaging in prolonged truancy, how then do we excuse the murder committed by her, as out of character?
This was further buttressed by a Lagos State Adviser, Dare Adelekan, who argued that “Chidinma Adaora Ojukwu, planned to murder Michael Usifo Ataga.
She booked the short-service apartment on June 13, 2021, ahead of her sinister plan,”
“She was the one who ordered the roofies they took. The anonymous dispatch rider who delivered the drug may be an accomplice.”
How many Ms Ojukwu do we still have out there?
How many of her accomplices are still out there?
I sincerely hope that the Nigerian Police Force can get to the root of the matter and expose all the hidden dimensions of this particular case.
May God comfort the Atagas. May God have mercy on Ms Ojukwu and may justice prevail, where all else fails.
